Erina
Erina Wyldmeri, Ruler of the Auraetum
The magnificent leader of both the Auraetum and the Aurum sits at her throne, surrounded in gold. She carries with her an air of superiority, and something about her is so commanding and dignified it makes dragons fearful in her presence. But something about her is... sinister- perhaps even evil.
Mistress Erina was responsible for the creation of the Auraetum at the well of infinity, and thus she declared herself the ruler. And what a fitting position for her. Erina loves gold, and will do most anything to get it- a practice which has made her many enemies. She, and her collection of likeminded advisers, are materialistic and heartless. Yet despite these loathsome dragons in charge, or possibly because of these dragons, the Auraetum prospers.
Erina is high born, the daughter of two of Lightweaver's priests. Erina discovered, at a young age, that living with few worldly possessions- including a name- was not the life for her. She would look at those around her and wish for more! All the other dragonets had similar circumstances of birth, but they had so much! And Erina had so little. And so began her dangerous obsession with money.
She was able to locate the mythical well of infinity using rumors and hearsay, stories of necromancers who'd claimed it as their own. An ally she made along the way, Zeiren, helped her to overtake the well - one of the few fights Erina participated in herself, and one of the only times she's ever risked her life for another. Her home and family were aghast at her warmongering, and no longer accepted her as one of them...
She was now an enemy of her home- but that didn't matter- she was about to be richer than anyone there could ever be.
Erina made friends in dark places, avaricious dragons who's strengths would help them reach the top. She got more and more gold and her home got more grandiose. She started to grow her circle, soon to be called the Aurum, famous for its greed and immorality. Eventually these dirty dealings got a bit too dangerous for Erina to continue- the Auraetum had grown too big for them to go unnoticed. And there were other rising dangers, like the necromancers that had previously been pushed out of the well of infinity coming back to fight for it. So Erina took a pause, and began acting more like a leader and less like a villain- although she's still scary and most definitely still villainous.
