Luna Seraius, Bodyguard to Erina, Member of the Aurum

Luna carries herself with a dignified air. She follows Mistress Erina wherever the lady goes, a threatening presence behind the already-threatening pearlcatcher. Yet Luna is not the most eyecatching of the duo… and she’s okay with that. Luna is fully dedicated herself to Erina’s safety and the only dragon that has Erina’s full trust, and is the only dragon that Erina will talk to in a relaxed way.

Luna lost her parents when she was very young. She survived as well as she could, getting food scraps and treasure by fighting in brawls. It was a hot summer day when Luna first encountered her future charge. She was fighting like always, but she didn't know that the rich Erina was watching her. Erina thought Luna was quite pretty, and offered Luna some treasure on a whim once the match ended. Luna found herself dazzled by Erina in that moment, thinking she was beautiful and kind. It sort of clicked - she must use her skills in battle to protect her. Luna wanted to introduce herself properly, but Erina had already left.

Luna was following Erina one night in hope of saying hello when she noticed that Erina was being stalked by a few sleazy men. When the attackers pounced on Erina, Luna sprung into action, throwing them away and using her size and experience in brawling to defeat them. She hadn't even realized that she had done it until the fight was over - she had killed two of the attackers and seriously maimed the last.

Erina was awed that Luna, who she recognized from before, had come to protect her. She invited Luna to join her on her travels - partially out of genuine appreciation for Luna, as well as the prospect of having a dedicated bodyguard.
